This is the maiden blog
I have an idea that I want to share here with you.
I'm trying it out right now by attempting to do something I've not done before.
This is my first blog and I'm totally wingin' it. Not unlike me to wing it, however I would love maintaining an illusion that I might know what I'm doing.
I really want to tell you about my crazy life and yard. I started out going to facebook and two hours later, here I am with my first blog post. I know you 're thrilled I 'm here. LOL Thank you for taking the time to read this far.
I still want to share about the yard. It has nothing to do with work. OK
I was doing homework for my Ireland presentation and for some Cal Poly students that are putting together a book for me. So I was really writing. Sirens started and went on for a good five minutes. I finally thought I would see if there smoke in the distance. I went to the front yard and there are five peacocks from the neighbors running around and headed toward the busy street. I'm herding them back through the overgrown creek area towards their house. It might look as if I know what is best for them. I grabbed my camera to take pictures as I go not wanting to miss the opportunity.
Next the little ground squirrel pops up and is eating plants in the back yard. He's cute and I want to hate him for eating my plants but I live the country and there are generations them around here. He's doing what he's supposed to.
I have 4 chicks in a nest in my wind chime on the front porch. I do have some pictures and I'll post them on facebook when I get in their again. Tonight a tree wa sin the house too. What next?
Do you think it's possible to be unhappy in all of this obvious spring twitterpation going on around my house?
Is it any surprize that when asked to sing, I would just go for it?
I'm simply in the flow and it's good. It is so much better than when I worry and fret about what will happen.
You can be in the flow too.
If you don't know how, give me a call and we'll talk about it.
If it seems like I'm having fun and that I've always been this way, please read about me on my website and you'll find that life used to be hard and I had evidence that proved it. After a lot of work and more time walking through the things that scared me deeply, I got to the joy part. Life is good when I see the goodness. It's not always this way because sometimes I forget, but it is good most of the time. I can show you how to have more joy in your life too.

Make it a great day!!
I sang for people accapela,(without music) last night because a lady in attendance asked me to sing for them. I'm not a singer and I have no idea where all my old inhibitions went to in that moment. I love challenging myself to be more vibrantly alive and so I centered myself in a few moments as I thought about the words and I started singing The Lord's Prayer. I gave it a good go even though I didn't remember all the words. I probably would have been scared if I'd had advance notice. It was fun.
This happened at the end of my Ireland presentation on Sacred Sites around the isle. I shared my slides and experiences in the stone circles with about 14 people.
Let me tell you more. A lady asked if I sang in the pubs while in Ireland and did I have any Irish whiskey then. I answered that I didn't have any whiskey, but I did sing in a church with fabulous acoustics. I was by myself. She asked if I'd sing for them. So I did. Just like that. I surprize myself.
Everyone enjoyed my presentation and stories and I had a brilliant time, as they say in Ireland.
If you want to know more, send me a message.
If you are interested in any of my presentations, ask me about them.
FYI to spellers. I love 'z' and will put it into any word that I can get away with.
